Succubi - Again!

Not sure why I keep coming back to Succubi. The first book I ever wrote - The Final Song, had a daughter of the Devil, Ruth, creating all sorts of mayhem. She changed in the second of the series. I didn't know about succubi then or she would never have ended up underneath during sex. The earliest writings are that Lillith, made by God the same time as Adam and supposed to be his first wife, became the archetypal succubus and always took the female superior position during sex. Maybe Adam got jack of that so God made him Eve and Lillith, in a hissy fit, became a Succubus.

Death of the Par by Dorian Cleavanger

Of course, the interpretation is wide open and some big hitters have gone beyond cuties like those above to a more horrifying portrayal.

This is a Simon Bisley piece.

Succubus by Uwe Jarling
As you can see from this small collection of pictures, the interpretation for portrayal is wide open. I won't spoil it for you and relate which turns up in my dreams.
